Floor drains. Early SWB??

Its 21st century repair on the floor plan. I know the car will leak some where. Thus the water will stay in the cab. Its like a pool now. Do I fit vents in the floor . i live in a dry climate .

At the air duct, on your hood in front of your windshield if you remove the screen grill, you will find a drain tube which can clog. If clogged, water can enter the cabin. The tube exits directly under the car. This may be a source of water.

My question is. After restoration it can never be water tight. But the floor is now water tight after replacement and sealing. Something will leak. So thoughts are to put drains or vents in the floor at low points. ???

No, you can make it leak free with some effort.
