OEM versus aftermarket
I need a clutch cable and speedometer cable for my 911e. Porsche OEM is outrageous when compared to Gemo aftermarket brand. Any thoughts? Is the quality of oem really worth the price difference? I don’t want to go cheap, just to have to replace within a year. Thanks guys!!!

I can't comment on the clutch or speedometer cables, but Gemo is the current supplier to Porsche for the 1969-1989 911 parking brake cables. Porsche list price: $101.65 each. Gemo are available from our host for $21...

There used to be some concern about overall length. Make sure Gemo is the same length as yours. Good cables have a plastic sheath fitting tight over cable strands then the outer black plastic, no metal sliding on plastic/rubber part. This design lasts longest.
