901 shifting question
Hi,
My rebuild 901 shifts like a dream. No grinding and shifting up and down (also from 2 to 1 while car is rolling no issue. So should be happy dude ;-) Only thing that feels weird is when going out of 2nd and 4th gear it feels a bit like I pull it out when there is still some load on. It clicks out. Pulling clutch pedal gives a bit more then 1" (1.2" ~ 30 mm.) So I thought maybe not enough un engaged(uncoupled) clutch, however I can shift in reverse without any problem(grinding) Any idea or is this 'normal'?! Thanks, Bart |

I would tighten up the clutch adjustment a small amount and see if that helps. It does sound like the clutch may be dragging.
