Some quick help on Fuchs decrypting (build dates & part numbers)

Hey all,

I'm looking for a set of Fuchs for my 930. Can someone confirm what I think I'm seeing; these are 1987 build dates and correct offsets & part numbers for a late 930?

Appreciate the help; these are big money and I want to make sure I know what I'm buying.

BTW, I did search for the past two hours, I just want some confirmation.

Thanks!

It's hard to see all the numbers on your wheels, but those appear to be correct for the '86-'89 turbo.

7 x 16 23.3 os 911 362 115
9 x 16 15 os 911 362 119

are the numbers I am seeing in Bruce Anderson's book.

Thanks that’s what I’m seeing too. Let me see if I can get the date code close ups to show.

As far as the wheel build dates, the first two digits are the calendar week of manufacture and the second two dates are the years. Example one of yours shows 1487 which would be 14th week of 1987, so manufacturing date would be between March 30, 1987 to April 5, 1987. You can use this handy convertor get the dates for the week: https://www.epochconverter.com/weeks/1987
The part numbers you'd need to research the parts/options listing for your year and make of course.

Thanks all, but the seller "TT Guy" on here, completely wasted my time. We made a deal and then he reneged, was super shady.

I'd recommend everyone avoid him: Pelican Parts Forums - View Profile: TT Guy

Anyhow back on the hunt!
