Rennline Aluminum floor Board

Dear Friends,

I´m installing an Rennline Aluminum floor Board on my car

Rennline Aluminum floor board RENF03S - Rennline Design - REN-F03S | Pelican Parts

So, my questions are?
Do I need to install a Clutch Pedal Stop Plate (901 423 036 00) and the Pedal floor board (901 551 065 20)?

Thanks

Do you have the pedal stop on the old wooden floor board? You could maybe transfer it over.
Good luck,
Dave

I think I also moved the clutch stop from my wood ones, and also get an adjustable stop for the gas pedal. don't recall now where I got that but think Rennline.

you can barely see that on this pic. you will want that as without you can mash the gas pedal hard enough to bend the linkage. dont ask me how I know.....

I would put it in. if you don't you're probably going to snap the roll pin in your clutch pedal.

I transferred my clutch stop over to my new rennline pedal board. I suspect that the rennline board is thinner because I can't get clutch stop to get any clamping force on the aluminum board to lock in position. Has anyone else experienced this condition?

Thanks

David

It is thinner. I used two flat washers to make up the distance behind the board. You must be able to tighten the clutch stop bump so that you don't stress the clutch cable or roll pin on later models.

And to answer the OP. Yes. You need to drill out the rivets on the gas pedal stop and move it over (well at least on mine which is not a Rennline) Move both the clutch stop and the gas pedal stop over. You need to have someone watch the throttle to make sure you get WOT when the gas pedal hits the stop.
