I know what that looks like but the one i am talking about is the 13mm wrench.. do you know what it looks like is it simply a 13mm box end that has an angled end?
i am asking because it's $44 .00 seems like a lot.

Mike I don't believe that is the $44 tool that Eric was asking about. At least I hope not. I paid less than $10 for the one you pictured. I think that the tool Eric is asking about is the one you use if you wish to adjust the valves using a dial indicator.

But seriously, you can bend you own wrench if you want. Or buy a specialty wrench from Snap-On for $35.00

Eric, get yourself a wrench from sears or ace and heat it then bend it.

It may be a combination tool, with a 13mm tube socket (like the VW plug sockets) and a screwdriver built in. It allows you to loosen the nut and turn the screwdriver without one or the other falling off.

I have a tool similar to that...inherited from my father. a 1/2" square drive for a socket, but hollow in the center with a screwdriver tip built in. The screwdriver tip driven by a knurled knob. Don't think it would work on a 911 though.

- 13mm box wrench, offset may help
- Feeler guage
- Flat head screwdriver

Eric, just buy a 993 engine from Harald...no more valve adjustments. Ha Ha....and think of the fun you will have.

I just used a standard box wrench, seemed to work just fine. Super photo by the way Kstylianos.
