Which S0-2's

Well...
my search for good used S0-2's is leading me nowhere ( need 225/50-16's).

Tire Rack has two remaining versions of this tire...which should I get? I need two rears to match my older-spec front's ( 205/55VR-16's basic "S0-2") that are not Pole Positions...nor are they "N" spec.

version1 ....225/50W-16...Honda spec....section width is 8.5"
version 2....225/50V-16.... Porsche OEM N3 spec...section width 8.1"

I've heard of some pretty terrible incompatability problems with the "wrong" choice....just don't know what's "right" in my case...

Wil, you should use the N-rated tires. It's O.K. to put higher spec (N) tires on the rear than the front. You just don't want the higher spec tires on the front for fear of a very tail happy car. The N-spec tires have a sidewall which has a stiffness that is suitable for a rear engined Porsche, so the rears are the critical ones.

Tyson:
Thanks for sharing your thoughts....how did you establish what the various "N" specs are all about?...I've had no luck even talking to the folks at Tirerack. At the moment, inquiries to Firestone/Bridgestone weren't answered.
