steel fuel lines

Good afternoon everyone,

Has anyone tried the steel fuel lines from Stoddard?

SIC-108-532-00 Central Tunnel Fuel Line, Steel, for 911 912 1965-1989

Thanks

I just bought plastic set from Len, steel is way cheaper but not sure how easy to change out, would think you need engine and maybe gas tank out to do the change

I'm in the midst of replacing my fuel lines, as well. Oddly, the Pelican website says this part fits my 1979 SC Targa -- but the original tunnel lines on my car are plastic.

Is this steel part the tank return line or the line to the fuel pump? The plastic lines have a rubber section before the end connectors, but I don't see those on this part. What are the end connectors?

May there''s an error, because I don't see how this metal line would install on my car.

The Stoddard Tunnel Lines are for the early cars w Carburetors and use slip-on connections w hose clamps. The application list from our host should be corrected.

They are ONLY for low pressure applications.

Anything with the high pressures of fuel injection require threaded connections.
