whats this inside door - dent removal question
I had my door panels off to address some things and to take a look around inside the door. I have an appointment with a good PDR guy in June who said he might want to take my panels off (he hasnt seen car yet). No way I would let him take these panels off so figured I would drive it to him without the panels
but, then I saw this below in pic. One of my dings is directly on the other side of it Did the car come from the factor this way? Any thoughts on how this will impact his ability to get behind the ding if needed? So much of what PDR guys do is a mystery so I have no idea if its worth the time to bother taking them off now ![]()

Len 911 is absolutely spot on. Factory sound deadening panel that is placed in the doors to avoid that tin can sound when you shut the odor and also reduce noise when driving. Remove and then replace with new stuff. It is not necessary to 100% cover the inside of the door. But most will significantly increase coverage when they add new stuff. Good luck with the PDR guy- they can work magic. Cheers, Michael

You will need to remove the pad so he can work on the ding properly on both sides.
