Wiper shaft removal for painting
The madness continues: I assume if I remove my wiper motor via 3 bolts then the arm linkage comes down? Want the items in picture out of the way for painting.

No. The motor and linkage can come out together. The trick is to unbolt the thick canvas strap (Item 15 in the attached schematic) from the motor bracket by removing the two bolts labeled 19. I seem to recall it was easier for me to get to these by removing the tachometer and reaching through the dash.

Well great advice got those bolts off the canvas strap ( interesting design) and then the whole mechanism came out from under. I had to urge it a bit but not bad. Now everything is off for painting. Except I need to pull the engine. It’s ready though.
