Headlight/signal stalk issues
 

Hey all,

I recently replaced the signal stalk in my Carrera due faulty high beam contacts, purchased from our host. I also installed a relay kit which works just fine. The issue I’m having is the turn signal will not turn off after completing the turn, I have to manually flip the stalk. This wasn’t an issue before the swap. Am I missing something or is the new part defective?

The signal stalk return is a mechanical process. There’s a tab on the back of the steering wheel that hits a lever on the stalk when turning in one direction - that’s why you hear that click when you first make a turn and the turn signal is on. Then when the wheel snaps back it clicks again and releases. I don’t have it in front of me - but it should be reasonably easy to check.
