Door / Power Window Wiring Harness
I've lost B+ to my power window switches.
The corresponding fuse and relay are both fine. There is voltage at the fuse. When I run a separate B+ jumper wire directly from the battery to the window switch, the windows operate just fine. This suggests to me that the wire between the fuse and the switch is broken. I think it may be in the section of harness between the door and the body. There appears to be a tear in the sleeving in this area, though i cannot see the condition of what should be the red/blue B+ wire - it's pretty tight in there. Question is this: How to get access to that section of harness? Do I need to remove the door panel , unhook the window and mirror terminals, and feed the whole harness out through the hole in the door? Or is there a connector that can be unplugged? How do people disconnect this wiring when a door is removed from the car? Thanks, Graham

I wouldn't go ripping apart everything just yet. Its probably one of the switches or connections.
