86 carrera seat hump bulkhead wires?

Probably get flamed for this, but I tried searching with no luck. I’m installing an RS carpet and there are two ground wires going through the bulk head right at the rear hump. Above the shifter linkage access panel. I’m back dating the heat and have removed all the center console etc etc so if these are related to that then perfect I’ll unplug, feed through and disconnect.

Just trying to make a clean carpet install.

Thanks in advance!

Disregard. Found a part number on the harness 91161205100- brake pad wear indicator. I’ll leave this for anyone else who might want to know/run into the same issue.

Iirc they have continuity when good and open when bad .
Can simply jumper them out and go old-school ..... inspect your brakes regularly .

That’s the plan, I regularly inspect all wear items so a brake wear idiot light is no use to me!
