Has anyone ever had their fan housing welded with a successful outcome?

Integrity of the weld can be done successfully, You just have to find a shop that has the capability to weld Magnesium..which might a problem and probably expensive.

Here is a member who is offering welding sevices for fans....along with balancing. Perhaps he can do the housing as well.
