Help! - Clewett Wires came with the wrong ends? Maybe?
So I ordered a set of Clewett wires for my 964 converted '75. They arrived and I am doing the install. Got the top half of the car wired up, went to install those wires on the new dizzy cap and discovered this? The ends of the wires are loose on the terminal that is sticking up from the dizzy. I could take pilers and close them down, if this is the right solution? However the boot it is not even touching the dizzy cap when the wire's end is all the way down onto the dizzy cap terminal.
Before I try something and mess things up, should I crimp down the ends, and try to slide the boots down farther? Or are these the wrong ends? ![]() ![]()

Terminals are for earlier caps. The wires are wrong. Send them back.
