Smitty, you are the skinny-bodied 3.6 GOD! :D

You're giving hope to all owners of skinny middle-year cars! That is going to be the ultimate sleeper! Keep us posted, please! :)

Thanks for the pics!

Very nice pics Smitty!

Pelicanites: I have arranged purchase for the 2.7 liter CIS engine that he has removed from this car to put the new 3.6 into, and I am very excited about getting it soon. Smitty let me drive his nice car in an autocross last year, and I know his engine is well maintained. It has hydraulic chain tensioners, a Pertronix igniter, a fairly recent rebuild, and Smitty made me a deal I could not refuse!

Thanks for the update, and I'll bet you are pacing in wait for the first drive!

Thanks Rick, Adam, and Bill for the coments.
It is going to be quite a sleeper...with the exception of the exhaust (dual out, 3.5" tips straight out the back corners), the rumble from the 3.6 through the exhaust, and the small part...the 3.6 grill badge!!!

You are the MAN bro.. That skinny assed gal is gonna SMOKE!!!!.
but should be one HELL of a drivers car..
she'll take all the yers skills to the limit!
which is the way it should be!! :)
.. insert caveman talk: "Eric like Smitty car! Eric like very much!!"
..

Thanks Ed and Eric,
I wrote the check (well kinda) today to pay for all this...so the hard part is over and the fun has just began!!!

You have Harald doing the work for you? My 3.6 motor came from one of his cars. Great guy. He has been helpful to every time I needed advice. I am big-league jealous. I was tempted to fly him out to California to finish mine!

pbs911 03-21-2003 07:43 AM

It must be great knowing you have a 3.6 motor going into your car with the Autobone right there in your backyard for test runs! Keep us posted on the progress.

k9handler 03-21-2003 08:12 AM

Yeah it is a good feeling to know that I have the chance to get the work done by a pro...and plenty of wide open autobahn to test and play with her!
