Help Identifying Something...
 

I am preparing a 68 911 for an engine drop. I believed I disconnected everything that needed to be but as a precaution I looked around to see if I missed anything.
Sure enough I did, but I am not sure what it is and if I can just unscrew it and be done. It is located on the passenger side, forward position on the transmission. Mechanical speedo cable? Any ideas?

I am far from any expert, but that does look like the speedo cable. I think the video below covers how to disconnect it.

Thanks for the video and post. Looks like it is the speedo cable. I guess it can just be unscrewed and I can proceed with the engine drop!
