Luftgekuhlt 6?
Wondering if anyone has heard of a possible date / if there is going to be a Luftgekuhlt 6 in the Southern California area. Even a rumor would do at this point.

Its been quiet. The online shop was closed last I looked. I think taking it to Europe may have slowed them down a bit.

I think it's getting tougher to find venues that jive with the story.

i talked to both patrick and jeff zwart at last years event about the challenges of future events as it had gotten so big. they both acknowledged it was getting difficult and that finding a venue that fit would likely drive the next one.
pretty sure they had announced by this time last year?...

Not starting rumors here... just sharing what is on the other Porsche Forum there seems to be a feeling that the event will be in May and somewhere way North of the bay area.

Patrick was on The Smoking Tire recently and said that they were laying low with regards to Luft. If memory serves, the idea was that the less lead time they give between announcement and event, the fewer people show up. And even then it will still be huge. You can watch the interview on YouTube.

If too many people is a problem then just limit ticket sales more? Giving less lead time is a weird way to limit people, unless you specifically wanted to limit people who have to travel.

Yeah I agree, we are in Florida and we are trying to coordinate getting cars shipped over for the event. Hard to do when no idea when registration is going to open for the event. It would suck to ship all the cars over and not be able to get them in event.

So, update for you all. You can register the cars that you want in the event (displayed) by folowing this link:
https://shop.luftgekuhlt.com/pages/luft6-display-entry-form?utm_source=Luftgek%C3%BChlt+Master+Contact+Li st&utm_campaign=72e338a25b-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_03_25_11_04&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0c20429020-72e338a25b-171478465&mc_cid=72e338a25b&mc_eid=bd1cb39c4f "Pedestrian" tickets go on sale April 6. Still no word on WHERE it is, other than in the LA area. I am planning my CT to LA trip, around this event....sadly time and realities mean I can't bring my car. If anyone in CA has a 911 they want displayed, but can't get there in time, I'm your man. ![]() Quote:

Racking my brain trying to figure out where it could be.
Thinking it could be Schwab's related but it would have to be in some sort of parking garage (which it looks like in the photo.) I don't see anyway that they could close down any part of Beverly Hills on a Saturday.

I’m curious to see what the selections are. I do like the curated aspect of it - I think it will help to make a more understandable display.
I’m guessing the air coooled display (as opposed to story line) will just be a giant carpark of air cooled cars, while the story line will be themed together. Setting a reminder for apr 6... |

Has anyone received an email to say their car has been accepted. They announced that they would be sending out approval emails today. No luck for me it seems!
