Electronic Speedo Guage in ‘72 911

So my project came with a mag case 915 and electronic speedo from about ‘78 I think .. which obviously sticks out a bit amongst the other gauges .. I want to retain the transmission with elec pickup ..

But I want to move to kph face & record km’s travelled on the odo ..

So what needs to be done to the speedo ..

- Faceplate change
- Odo drive gear change (possible I think)
- Needle change to match silver centres of others ..
- Recalibrate for wheels / tyres

What else??

Assuming this is all doable .. or are electronic silver centre kph speedos avail off the shelf somewhere ...??

73 was the last year for the silver bullet gauges, so I do not think, off the shelf is available. You need to contact a VDO gauge specialist shop for some custom work. Rob
