Plate on inner wing?
This is rather strange guys.Car is a 78SC.Now virtually stripped down.Plenty of rust.L/H rear wing removed
Today I thought Id check the R/H inner wing.All seems good, just some minor surface rust that the blast will remove.I had my hand stuck up inside wing and I felt a lump. There appears to be a plate on the very top of inner wing.It looks like its covered in original underseal.Never seen this before.If this was a "repair" at some time its been done prefectly,as the stonechip in the engine bay appears untouched,and the rear wing has never been off,im sure.You can just see top of it next to arrow in pic.Any ideas guys?
