Inner turbo tie rod sticktion.
Hey guys, changing out my outer turbo tie rod end today and noticed that when i disconnected it from the knuckle, I have a lot of "sticktion" on the inner part. Is this normal? Takes some effort to get it to pivot around on the spherical bearing.

Stiction is a good thing when it comes to tie rods and ball joints; it means the joint is still tight and ready for use. If the joint moves without any resistance, it's worn enough to consider replacement. If it has detectable play between the ball and socket, it's really worn and needs immediate replacement.
