Vin Question
 

I have a 73 911 Targa and am a bit confused about something. The VIN is 9113110579. I purchased from the second owner who had it since 1976. The car is 100% matching inside and out. Now comes the main question:

Does this car have factory CIS? Manufacture date 11/72. I understand CIS didn't become common until January 73, however I have read conflicting things being that some 911 Porsches left the manufacturer with CIS prior to 73?

It appears it could be a couple different things. Right now I am thinking this is a TE, which is MIF.
