Installed my new dual-out muffler, I like it!
I got a S/S Mille Miglia on Ebay that I installed last night. What a great sound. It can actually be quieter than the Bursch at steady cruising RPM's. At any kind of acceleration or deceleration it has a definite Porsche sound, but "hoarse" and louder.
The only gripe I have is that when I had my car painted, I had a cut valance in anticipation of going two out, and they we're s'posed to paint it. When I got it out last night, it was still Guards Red, I guess I should've checked when I picked it up from the body shop. So, I ended up cutting the valance on the car. The Bursch will go on Ebay, so will the cut valance-I "swore" to my wife I'll start selling some of the parts I'm collecting. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/IM000119S.JPG |
Twice pipes!!! Very cool.

Do you have stock heat exchangers or backdated?
|
All stock except for the muffler and pre-muffler.
|
I was watching that muffler on eBay and would have bid, but more pressing engine issues are getting that money instead now. You got a very nice looking muffler there.

wow...looks great. that was one of the mufflers we were also looking into. we should be getting ours back mid-next week. (they had to reorder the correct size baffle). I hope our dual GHL looks as nice.
|
Sarah- where did you end up having your work done?
|
Nurburgring (Rick Moe) in Maple Plain. The baffle is supposed to help with my "I don't want it too loud" concerns.
