89 Carrera Outlaw Mule build thread

Ok... so. The SWB found a new home. I convinced myself for about 5 days that I didn't need a P car and then post the 5 stages of grief accepted that I would need another.

Here she is. Rough as a bears ass to be honest, and a 89 carrera updated to a 964.

Being the purist that I am (), im thinking about doing something somewhere between group 4 and the DLS mule. I love Matt Crookes rennpig, but something about that RSR rear flare seems to really work for me.

No I believe the mules are still factory owned and still being used as test beds.

Subscribed. Where are you leaning for motor? Mild, outrage, turbo? Could affect suitability of body mods. Also, what driving comfort level for passenger and driver?
Ohhhh, so much to think about......
Cheers,
Johan

After going for perfection last round I have this bizarre urge to just extract the maximum amount of fun out of it and so I want it to be drivable and fun for the bulk of the build. if that means unpainted over arches for a few months and stickers and stone chips all over the bloody thing then im all for it.

Will do interior and exterior parallel to suspension drive train mods. Initially I'm just going to go digital spark with pmo itbs. On rebuild I'll increase compression, twin plug and so as many n/a tricks I can think of as I did on the 2.7. Turbos still don't appeal to me on everything pre 993 even though we're at altitude (over 5000ft). I guess a lot of it is about the sound.
