Now the car is starting, running for a second or 2 and then dying...Help!

I took out the alternator and the large black plastic MFI piece that connects to the left heat exchanger and the air filter. I did this so I could take off the left rear sheet metal piece and better clean off on top of the engine.

The car ran last night for a few minutes and then died. It wouldn't start back up.

This morning it will run for a second or 2.
When I start the car, it runs for a second or 2 and then dies. I never changed the timing so I don't think that's the problem.

What else could be the problem??

I have checked all electrical connections and all seem to be okay.

Help.

Thanks.
