3.6 conv 2"DME rubber grommet

Okay, I have the whole cut and wires through but after an hour of trying can't get the rubber grommet in there to seal the whole. Do I need a bigger whole or am I missing something. Trick to getting rubber grommets in, I've got it lubed up with silicone.

I used a 2 1/2 inch hole punch. That would be 63.5mm. I measured the grommet and came up with 60mm as the ideal size. Everything fit perfect. I fed the harness from the engine bay into the passenger compartment and used pliers to pull the grommet in place.

Is yours that different???

I used a 2 1/2" hole saw and was able to push the grommet securely through the engine pad. To really do a nice job you would have to place the grommet between the sound pad on the exterior and behind the seat pad.

Since I already had a 2" hole cut I couldn't use another hole saw, I enlarged it with a die grinder and, it fits. Instructions I have say 2" hole, thats why I started there.

Thanks Guys!
