Type of covering on inside of pocket door?

I am switching interior colors and bought some used pocket doors. One has a carpet like covering on the inside of the door (bottom one in the pic) and the other does not (top one).

Anyone know what material is used normally for that as its not full carpet. I'd like to put something on the inside to cut down on noise when I store items in there, etc.

Thanks in advance...

I have always seen it referred to as “mouse fur” or “mouse hair” when reading car magazines as a young boy describing Ferrari Dino dashboards, Porsche glove boxes, etc. I believe it may be a sprayed on flocking of some sort but I’m not sure. Anyone?

I just re-flocked my door pockets that had gotten a bit tatty using one of the “Flock-It” kits. There are a couple of threads on here if you search for “flock” or “flocking”.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I needed. Found the following links for future reviewers of the post:

https://www.flockit.com/ - Site with all the items you need

https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Velvet-Contact-Jewelry-Stick17-7/dp/B07B9ZHBFJ - Amazon self-adhesive - might work?

Since its inside the pocket door, might try the adhesive approach first, just use a heat gun to ensure it sticks?
