Sheet metal screws at bottom of doors

Anyone know where to source the screws that hold the door pockets on, there are I think 3 along the bottoms on each door....or what size so I can check out a hardware store today

I’m missing a few

I ordered a bunch from pelican but they turned out to be the larger ones used higher up on the door

1983 SC

The lower set of screws holding the door pocket on are not sheet metal screws. They are actually actually 4x.7 metric machine screws with countersunk heads and 25mm long. Porsche part number is 900 269 058 07

If you have an Ace hardware nearby you may want to just try stopping by and searching what they have. the length isn't that critical, so if you go a little longer or shorter you'll be fine.

I just used #8 or #10 body screws from the local auto parts store and they work fine. They come with the beveled washer. Of course my interior is black so I don't know if the screws on a brown interior are still black. Also, if I recall correctly there are five of them per side, plus one under the map pocket cover.

The other ones are different from the ones at the bottom. Much larger.

Paying by the screw does get expensive, but you can also find assortments of every size 911 interior screw. I just went that route because you never know what you’re going to need or drop into the void. A lot of times the old ones also have a little rust on them. I swap them out for new ones as needed.

I recently replaced a bunch of those screws/washers, carpet screws and also the back seat screws as I was going thru the interior. Every one I was able to source thru the local Porsche dealer. No shipping costs and they came in in a couple of days. Cheapest things for this car that I have ever ordered.
