Victor Reinz Base Gasket Coated?

FINALLY I have started to assemble my engine. I have a Victor Reinz Gasket Kit. I was getting Ready spray Copper Coat on the Base Gaskets and Noticed they have a “Black Coating”! This looks like the Same Coating That is on 3 Piece Head Gaskets That after a few Heat Cycles bonds to the Surface.

Anyone Know or have any experience with these Base Gaskets?

I used them. Wouldn't hurt to put a thin coat of Yamaha bond on them.

Make sure you check your head stud torque after a few hundred miles. All of my studs needed about 45 deg to get back up to torque spec.

Yamahabond! Yes I have that even through I have Kawasak’s Thank you! 😂😂

I like the Idea of being able to Keep them in place on the “Cylinder” while dealing with the Rings. Mr. Walker said the same thing about the head Bolts. So No Question I will do that. Even my Motorcycles have the same problem after a few Heat Cycle’s

Thank you Mr. Walker. You were SOO RIGHT about the Stud Bolts. They also look Good and that Copper Coating on their Threads will sure Help against Corrosion, even though I now live on Florida and hope to never see Salt and Brine on the Road Again.
