Black sisal is very classy. Jaspe may be too orange to go with rosewood.

Agree. I think the sisal weave is the closest to the period “coco” mats.

Order samples of Jaspe (calico), Brown palamino sisal, and brown natural coco. See what you like best. It will cost all of $3 and the samples work as coasters when you are done. ;). Also, if you ask nicely, they will put whatever color heel mat and trim on them you want.

I have natural-sisal-colored mats in my brown interior and they look quite nice.

I just wanted to add that the Cocoa Mat people I dealt with were so nice and helpful. Who offers such a custom process/product at a reasonable price these days? NFI except I live in the Carolinas.

I'll second this^^ comment. I just added CocoMats to my '66 Beetle....they came out awesome. Plenty of colors to choose from and fine-tuning the fit for truly custom mats only took a few emails and an extra week.

Their customer service is on point.
