Seriously considering it but haven't been to that location before - hear is in a less desirable part of town?

Its in the gated/fenced parking lot area for the ampitheatre. Neighborhoods arent the best, but its no different than going to a concert there, except this is in daylight! Its only two turns/two blocks off the expressway anyway. We used to hold all the autocrosses there for a couple years before the staduim venue became availiable. No problems ever reported. You dont get the "passerby" crowd like you do at the stadium either.

Thinking about it, but depends on gotta do versus wanna do things. Thought about maybe running the CRX instead and not the 911 so I don't look so bad.

I was planning to go, but got in the 911 late yeserday and it wouldn't crank. the battery died (5 1/2 yrs old), so I drove the CRX instead. on the way home, noticed the clutch is going south (104k miles hard life) in it, so I wont take that. Sure as hell won't run the Accord. Maybe next time..

It was awesome... @36 cars showed. Man, the 993 is such a different car than the Turbo was. It took awhile to get used to the ABS and power steering! My first run was 1:00:254, my last was a 53:018, taking second place in class, so a big improvement. This was the first time I pushed the 993 since I got it. After getting used to it, I really like it. Can't wait until the next one!

Sounds like a good time, it was a great day for it.. congrats on 2nd place in class. Wish I could have been there to run or watch, but I was fighting w/ the %$#^ car.
