Anyone remember the story of what happened?

Yes I do and it was sad.Ciao Fred

Wasn't it supposedly in a trailer, that somehow got disconnected from the tow vehicle and then hit a tree?
|
Here are some details. (Don't click if like me you loath robot voiced videos)

I knew it looked familiar, thanks for the info.

roarmc could use this to move his project forward :)

We probably could have helped with some parts, but unfortunately we threw away the remainder of what we had...

$467,500 was a steal. Ship it to Porsche Classic for repair and get it back factory fresh and certified. With 959s going for prices $1 million and up, I'm sure there was money to be made.

I love the description of what's holding on the bumper at 1:27 of the video (https://youtu.be/BQIQHeuGYS0?t=87)
And I quote: "The front bumper is still installed thanks to an elastic material wrapped in super high tech fabric equipped with a light weight metal hoop on each end" |
