Wasn't it supposedly in a trailer, that somehow got disconnected from the tow vehicle and then hit a tree?

Maybe Lada would like to buy it. Didn't they buy a 959, or nine hundred and fifty nine as per the video, and rebody it as a Lada to do well in a car rally in the 80's early 90's?

roarmc could use this to move his project forward :)

We probably could have helped with some parts, but unfortunately we threw away the remainder of what we had...

$467,500 was a steal. Ship it to Porsche Classic for repair and get it back factory fresh and certified. With 959s going for prices $1 million and up, I'm sure there was money to be made.

I love the description of what's holding on the bumper at 1:27 of the video (https://youtu.be/BQIQHeuGYS0?t=87)

And I quote: "The front bumper is still installed thanks to an elastic material wrapped in super high tech fabric equipped with a light weight metal hoop on each end"

If I remember correctly, there was mention somewhere that it would take approx $300k or so to get it back into full form - so definitely room to make some $$
