Unhappy Power Bleeder and early 911 - Am I missing something?

Ok, this may be a dumb question. When using a Power Bleeder to do the brakes on my early 911, how do I keep from pushing the fluid out the overflow hose?? I did not think about it until there were 3 or 4 ounces of AP600 on the driveway.

Clamp it off with some lock pliers.

LOL, we'ev all done that once... Use vice grips on the hose, or better yet, make a small closed end hose and hold it on with a small hose clamp.

I suggest something to hold the hose on though, it should hold normally since the bleeder works at low pressure, but I like the extra insurance of a hose clamp because if that hose pops off, brake fluid is going EVERYWHERE inside...

Thanks guys. That is a simple enough answer, glad I'm not the only one.

My first time was at mid ohio last year. nice job since it was right across the lane from the Eurosport trailer. I'm sure they had quite the laugh!

Actually, I was just checking the overflow drain hole to make sure it emptied outside of the car. Yeah, that's right!
