Seat Belts for the back seats in a '72 Porsche?

I just sold my 1972 Porsche 911T to a good friend in the UK and it is currently being shipped. My friend asked me if the back seats have seat belts. I hate to admit that I don't remember if the rear seats actually have seat belts. I looked on the Pelican Parts catalog for rear seat belts for this model and I did not see anything listed. Can anyone tell me if these items are available?

Not sure about the ‘72 model year, but my ‘75 had the provisions to fit them, and I was able to source them from a recycler. None were fitted from the factory however.

Very likely doesn't have them (my '77 doesn't). Also doesn't need them for the UK - as car built before they were a requirement there either (1986). Doesn't need fender (wing) flasher repeaters, 3rd brake light or the single rear fog either.

If rear belts are fitted, compulsory to wear them. But if they aren't and don't need to be, all good.

My friend asked about rear seat belts because he has a young daughter who can ride in the back.

That’s why I fit them as my children were small enough to ride back there.

Are there bolt holes for the belts for this year car or will the new owner have to drill bolt holes in the sheet metal?

Jack Stands: Did you source the belts from the back seat of another Porsche or did you get generic belts from another model car?

I am fairly certain that there are provisions for rear lap belts beneath the carpet or perhaps capped with plastic.

The holes are there with plastic screws. Get lap belts from a later model.
