996 C4S Coilover question
Hi All. New to this forum...and am searching for an early 996 C4S. I've found a couple that have been converted to Bilstein PSS9 Coilover Suspension
Is this a cause for concern on the ride height or indication the beast may have track day days in its history? Thanks |

I know lots of guys that have upgraded their suspensions and have never gone close to the track. Who knows at this point..

I wouldn’t worry about it too much .
Most likely old stock stuff needed renewing and they went ps9 for the bang-per-buck , or it was done early on . I’d drive a stock and ps9 version if you can find 2 cars that have just been renewed, just to see which you prefer . Other than that I wouldn’t sweat it . I did that upgrade on my 993 and loved it. The car was "planted" after that suspension improvement. Oh, the car was never tracked or raced; just enjoyed on the street.
