Bosch Alternator

Thanks to everyone who has helped with input

Found a Rebuilt Bosch 70 amp alternator with external voltage regulator for my 74 911. The original alternator in the car was a lower 55 amp SEV Marchal with external voltage regulator. Any problems in using this higher amp bosch unit?

It is helpful to those who may follow in your footsteps to keep everything in one thread. You have two other threads on this topic. Those other threads will leave readers confused until you post this final message. Inquiring minds want to know what finally happened. I am glad you found a replacement alternator.
