Color code #436-9-3 what is it?
I have a 76 Euro 930. I've been searching paintscratch.com, even talked to them. My quandry is my paint code. On the doorpost tag it is 436-9-3. I've had this car 18 years and know it is the original color. I've heard it called Bronzit, Indica Red, whatever. It is really a copper color. I actually saw a 86 turbo in the exact same color but can't find it on paintscratch.com either. Does anyone know what the color is? I've done the searches here too and not found any reference to that color. Thanks everyone.

Need help here. My son and I are going to take a big road trip in a couple of weeks. I know I'm pushing the time envelope here but I've done some paint work in the past.
What happened was I have one of those lifts that I park my 930 on top and the 356 underneath. Last fall I was watching that the top didn't hit the 8 foot ceiling. I'd done this probably 100 times in the last 6 or 7 years. I hear this sickening caaaaaaaaaaachiiiiiiiiiiiiiingggggggggggg. I have a Ruf solid rear spoiler and it was 1/8th of and inch to close to the rear riser on the lift. It took a quarter size chunk out of the rear lip. It is easily repairable but this color is unique. Any help is truly appreciated. By the way I've been reading this forum for several years and have never posted but I have faith someone out there might know what that code # is called. |

436 was a special order color for 1976 model year 911s - Sienna Metallic according to the Red Book. Hope this helps.
