looking for owners of 1970 911t 91101021..

with id numbers 9110100210 9110100211 9110100213 9110100214 9110100215. I am trying to re establish the history of my 1970 911 T that was stolen and recovered in the early 70s and has had a reassigned number on it all of these years. I am very close to finding it after extensive research but all I have is the factory production number of 1000491. I know that 9110100216 has the number 1000493, so think that my car is one of the above numbers. I would like to eliminate some of them if you own one of these cars and if you would be so kind as to tell me your production number I can get closer to my car. Thank you George Hussey

Hey George

A bit of a thread bump here -I don't know (& kinda doubt) if this will help in any way but here's a pic of my dash - 1970 911T.

My serial number is also about 960 or so later than the ones you show, so in all likelihood, the foregoing may of no use to you - but....
Suffice to say, best of luck in your search

Cheers
JB

I have some parts including the motor which were salvaged from a crashed 70 911T but I don’t think I have anything to ID the VIN except for the engine number. I suppose it could be within your range. Back story:The car was most definitely totalled as only the roof and one door were left unscathed from the crash which took place in the early 70’s while being driven by the sonof the owner who was a high school student at the time. The incident did not involve another vehicle and the young driver was not seriously hurt.
