Fuel injector sleeve reseal question

Old new guy again:

So I unstaked my sleeve and pushed it out using an old injector.
New seal replaced the crumbly old one, so might be wise to do all these.

So on the install I’m just tapping the sleeve down with an old injector.
Can I assume the sleeve won’t go too far in? I guess I’ll answer it myself by noting when I re-stake the sleeve, it’ll seat in the right spot?

I am no expert by any means but I replaced all mine recently. Seemed like they just went in as far as they could and I was not concerned about them going to far.

Thanks wareaglescott for confirming my non-expert thoughts.
Practice will make you an expert.

They just tap in. They end up maybe 1/16 of an inch below the top of the injector hole.
