Backdate tail lights on impact cars?

I've seen some of these, and i'm not sure where I stand on it. I think it depends on the overall feel of the particular car.

Does anyone have these tail lights on their impact car?

It works visually (to me) if you delete the center reflector. Replace with a body color strip or speed holes or something.

I am fine with what ever.....seriously hate raining on anyone parade....

I did this...............

While I think the RS lights would work....I opted for the factory pieces.

That looks nice, the R lights would look great IMO due to the center being body color.

IMHO putting R Lights on an IB car is just as incongruous as putting a very modern metal watchband on a vintage watch which used leather. Total mismatch. If I had my way, only short wheel base cars with the proper front fenders should be allowed to run them. It’s something about stylistically mixing decades with something so purposefully simple with a vehicle so much more advanced. Yeah I get the weight savings deal, but you can get light weight period correct housings.

But do what makes you happy. If you don’t like the look, it can be reversed.
