Power antenna question 82 SC

Cleaning some old wires from previous owner install.
Also installing my repaired power antenna.
Info says power lead goes to connector #30 on light switch ..agreed
Presently there is 1/2 of a fused connector on 30 .
Looks very Factory , so is this for the antenna ?
Is this typical to be fused for 82 ?

Thanks
Frank

I was some time ago. But I think my power antenna just comes off the radio/sterio. No other wires used.

3 wires from antenna....
Red: to light switch hot always
White: to the back of the radio switched when you turn radio on/off
Black: ground to chassis

Well illustrated in this F/S ad

FS: original Porsche Power antenna 78-86

Stevie
Yes thanks,...saw the diagram.
My question was whether the power feed to #30 on light switch was fused ??
As I noted I have 1/2 of the in line fuse present.
Thanks
Frank

If you have the 1/2 of the in-line fuse, most certainly use it, not sure the power source for the light switch is fused.
