RE WIRE Fogs

I was thinking about replacing enemic fog lamps with a pair of Marchels and would like to determine how to wire to a separate switch on dash with relays..any ideas on what pickups to use on fuse board (1977 porsche 911). I understand i can re-route from light switch but its frankly a pita to get to that switch and to the actual fog lamp pull knob which is buried behind stereo and amp tucked up under dash. I can use a simple toggle (lit when active) in one of the spare dash holes which i can reach easier

There's no reason I can see that you can't use your factory switch that's already on your dash. As well, I believe that the original fog light circuit already runs through a relay, at least my '87 does, but I'm pretty confident yours will as well.

The original switch is virtually imp[ossible to access bacuse of other items in the way and its fed by the light switch on the 77... i would just run a new circuit with a relay

You already have all the wiring needed with a relay if you have original fog lamps and they turn on.
Just change the lamps.

not sure i follow, from what i can tell i dont see any relay unless its built into the fuse panel?

Relay bases are mounted In the fuse panel.
J-5 in the drawing is the relay.

I thought you meant 'retire' - as in, get rid of.
