Weird. I had the same part missing on my steering wheel. Never even noticed it until I took the steering wheel off to replaced the disintegrated bearing in there. I got a replacement from a fellow Pelican (thanks Shaun!). Otherwise, try places like Parts Heaven, LA Porsche Dismantlers, and the other wrecking yards that advertise in Excellence/Panorama/etc.

Thanks, I'll try them. I'm thinking the piece from a 944 steering wheel would be compatible.

Did you look under the seat?

Great idea but the seat resides in CA now, I’m in FL.
