Front Sway Bar Installation

Help! I am having a hard time installing my front sway bar after bushing replacement. I keep popping the bushing out when I MUSCLE the sway bar into position.
Any tricks that I can use to avoid removing the A arm to finish this task? Seems like removing the A arm would present another problem when it's time to reassemble.
I've tried lithium grease, silicone, et'c. to lube the dam thing & still pop the bushing out part way. Maybe a 2 person job to supply more muscle to get the bar thru the bushing at the correct angle.
I'm stuck & want to get back on the road.

I assume the car is up on jack stands or something similar? One thing that helps is to compress the suspension so that the wheel is somewhere near normal ride height. This allows the sway bar to go in much easier.

I have the factory "under the body" 22mm front bar on mine and have to install it this way....

Thanks, makes sense. Changes geometry & moves the bracket & bushing into better alignment.
I'll try this.

Mikes method worked for me.
