Hello,
a while ago I posted a picture of my car and rust. This is a picture of the car now. I had some metal removed and will weld new pieces. Then itīs of to paintshop and perhaps it will be ready for driving in mid may. KH |

removed SOME metal!? I thought my project needed lots of rust repair.
Nothing like the look of a bare, split longitudinal on a 911. I think its kinda cool when one of these cars is torn down to reveal all the structural integrity that we all take for granted. good luck with the project.

That's quite a project, good luck. You wouldn't know from looking at last year's photo that the car had a problem. My 2.7 Carrera looked the same till I stripped it down.
