Well my engine has been put into place. Although I am going to miss Road Atlanta next weekend, the car will be ready soon. I also threw in a picture of the front suspension. So close and so anxious.

Well, since you asked. I do have one of the front. All finished except the gasline to the filter.

Wow. If I remember right, you're building the car to 3.0 RSR specs?
What have you done to the suspension? What springs are you running? If I were you, I'd be going nuts right now.

Jack, I thought I did nothing at work but read these forms. Man, between this form and the other, this must be your full time job.
But, you do have a great memory. The car started out as a 3.0 RSR. But to make a long story short it now has a 3.2L. Which with the new SCCA rules, that is OK. PCA will still keep me in GT3. I don't know if I want to post my spring weights in a public form. But my starting point is with people who have been racing Porsche's ( and winning) for a long time. "Going nuts" is an understatement. Years and money, and to know in a few weeks I'll be on track. Thanks of the compliment. One thing you have I don't. I can't drive it on the street to show it off. |

Paul, that looks fantastic. Can you post any more pics? I'm curious about the bracket at the rear of the left front wheelwell...the one the block of wood is under...is this part of an air jack?

Paul,
I would love to see that car in person some time, if that is cool. I am just down the road in Atlanta.

Whew! This reminds me of when drag guys on the west coast couldn't believe this guy who was known as the "swamp rat"...coming out of the SE USA. He taught us a thing or three. Yeah, he did!
