Stainless Steel Brake piston problem
I was trying to rebuild my S calipers today and I ran a small problem. The retracters that are in the original didn't come with the SS pistons. I thought about trying to move them over but there doesn't seem to be a ring for the clip to snap into.
Do I install them without the retracters?

Tim,
If you got the piston from the place I recommended, there is a groove for the snap ring, at least in mine there were. You might need to stretch out the ring a little to hold the ring in place, plus the fit is a little tighter than the old ones. Perhaps you got an unfinished set.
