Stupid crankshaft timing question...
I'll figure this out when I get around to adjusting the valves, but curious about the crankshaft timing on these engines. Are they even fire, or?
Embarrassed I don't know this already... ;/

Even fire every 120 degrees. You can usually look at the distributor cap of a motor and tell.
They do have a unique firing order though which I think makes them sound the way they do. (that and the gear driven IMS).

Basic engine configuration........

@pampadori - thanks, had a feeling that was the case, but they have such a great syncopated beat going down the road it made me wonder. My favorite engines have been the odd-fire Honda VFRs btw...
