Dmitry, please also tell them to make parts to proper spec. Top of door clear anodized garnish rails are wider than corresponding black. But the new Porsche Classic clear rails use the black width. And the anodized finish is cloudy at best looking more like Fuchs than brightwork.

If they are going to make vintage parts, make them correctly or not at all. A collection manager sent me 5 new Classic pair of rails to refinish to bright only to find out they are too narrow for their LWB cars. Since I had stripped the anodizing and started to work on them, they couldn't be returned, or used. 5 pair of original rails had to be found and refinished. Costly problem for this customer.

Porsche Classic comes to Porsche Parade every year. I chatted with one of the managers there. I told him face to face the coil the dealer sells, the silver one, is garbage. They need to make a new one. He put it on the list.

They have some really nice new tool-kits. Not the cheap bag like what came with the car, but a nice leather case. The tools look great, but they were 600 bucks and up. Of course an original set is about the same cost.

There are great ideas here! Should this be a sticky at the top of the page?

Not going to happen. Because Porsche don't make fuel pumps, and Bosch make their fuel pumps in Czechoslovakia - for at least 15 years now.

The Czech-made pumps are fine. There are, however, total garbage fake knockoffs all over the internet which are not. The price is usually the clue.

actually i think the next thing to do is pick some major ones and run a poll .. that will give you an idea of weighting .. and if it will be economical feasible ..

for example if your ignition coil gets 500 votes vs a replacement dashboard that gets 2 , they will know where to start investing. Or at least have a start

Send a message via AIM to fintstone
Parts to restore '74-80 sport seats (Bowden cables and recliner parts like springs, hooks, etc.). Collapsible spare tire.

Not a Porsche part, but Carbrellas for Targas are popular and becoming unobtanium. Maybe a good Targa hardtop replacement.

Coils.

Probably all Zenith 40 Tin carburetor owners are missing the solenoid valve for deceleration.
