Here's a QC issue. Customer sent me this brand new Porsche fan to be refinished in Cerakote because upon trying to return it, he couldn't be assured that another wouldn't be just like it. Wish I had taken pics before sanding to prep for filler. It was ugly. The whole darker area needs to be filled in.

Yep got my car without the knee pads so a lot of wires a hanging down right now. I will probably end up making something out of freezer board or something.

Yup, Bowden cables, especially the one for the cruise control (pre-'88). I actually sent a note on this to Porsche Classic a couple of years ago...no response.

Fellow Pelicans,

I completely agree with Shaun. This is the reason we started making some real quality parts. Take a look at a set of LWB armrests we just came out with. We are working in door rails and a few other parts. Send over requests and we can start working on other projects as well if we get enough demand.

Heh. I kinda figured.

Oh yeah, here's another NLA part I don't think I mentioned. And it should be a piece of cake for them. The fibre "kick panel" that bolts to the fuse block on the 924/S and possibly early 944 cars, to protect the wiring harness from driver's feet.
They've all rotted away.

If Porsche won't remake them, I will. On my laser cutter.

If this has not been requested yet , a made in Germany Red Round Multipurpose Relay . The Chinese made are of poor quality and has stranded me a couple of times . They have a tendency to melt marshmallows.

I had the red plastic cover fall off prior to even getting it fitted to the car. In the end I just binned it and chased up a good German made second hand unit. These Chinese ones are some of the poorest quality parts I have purchased. Just not what I would have expected.
